Cool Stuff

"The how of life may, at times, seem complex - and thank goodness it is or it would be pretty dull; but the why of life is simple... it is to revere, relish and contribute."

The Complex

Communication: The Internet and the possibilities that it brings to humanity fascinate me. The Net enables people from all around the world to communicate directly with each other, to tell their stories without filters and to educate themselves about anything that interests them. It democratizes the world more than politics ever can. Here are some of Leslie's recommended websites.

Creativity: The ability of human beings to imagine, to envision, to create and to contribute to each other, to our culture, to our advantage and upliftment is inherent in each of us. Those people who epitomize the best of these attributes are worthy of being exemplified and deserve our admiration and attention. They show us all how much we are capable of becoming and accomplishing. Go here to learn about some of Leslie's favorite people.

The Simple

Revere: When we decide to look at all of creation as being sacred, we learn to treat ourselves as sacred creatures in addition to having a reverence for life itself and a recognition of the glory of the entire cosmos. When we examine the nature of our own consciousness, we learn to accept our inherent ability to be consciously creative, which is a divine attribute. "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle."

~ Albert Einstein

"Either everything is sacred or nothing is."
~ Matthew Fox

Relish: Life is abundantly full of things to enjoy. There is plenty to be grateful for: inspirational people, enlightening relationships, exciting opportunities, interesting experiences, awesome adventures, beautiful places, good books and music, glorious and awe-inspiring mountaintop vistas, wonderful beach bars from which to watch sensational sunsets, an endless multitude of joys and pleasures. "The most fortunate are those who have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again,
freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy."

~ Abraham Maslow

Contribute: Each human being has unique experiences, insights, talents and skills; and these are gifts that can be shared with others. Making a contribution to your fellow human beings leads to a sense of purpose, fulfillment and happiness. Leslie contributes directly to others with his personal one-on-one mentoring and through his public speaking. Leslie's books are another way he contributes. Check his articles for a collection of ideas, tips, tools and techniques to help you create your own success.

"The only ones among you who will be really happy are those
who will have sought and found how to serve."

~ Albert Schweitzer

~ The Buddha

"If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being,
then I warn you that you will be unhappy for the rest of your life."

~ Abraham Maslow

Take a break and go to the beach.

While you are at the beach, relaxing and working on your tan, enjoy a good book.
You can, of course, read one of Leslie's books or one of his favorites.
